Peter J McCarthy, an award winning Irish Director, Producer, Photographer and Oil Painter. Managing Director of Good Dog Films Limited t/a www.fightorflight.tv and www.gooddogfilms.com. Peter has produced and directed works in conjunction with the Irish Film Board, Arts Council and has appeared on CBS News, TV3, Radio New Zealand, TVNZ. With film's screenings at Doc NZ International Film Festival, Radar Hamburg, LIFF New York and Little Rock Film Festival, Arkansas, sponsored by President Clinton.

Four International "Best Documentary" awards from Hamburg, Toronto, California and Best Foreign Documentary at the Long Island Film Festival. Two nominations and a "Best Feature Selection" in Toronto. Winner of the Best Emerging Filmmaker award at BIFF in Wisconsin and the Audience Award at Flyway Film Festival. Peter was co-producer on the film "Loss"which won Best Directing and Music at the Shanghai International Film Festival. His project "Fight or Flight was also nominated for Best Editing at the IFTA Awards. Peter was also recently nominated in the Directors Category at the Kinsale SHARK advertising awards.
